Pigs

We like Middle White pigs, which are classed as an endangered breed. We don’t belong to the official club – we’re just not naturally ‘clubbable’ people and don’t want to get involved with shows – but perhaps one day we’ll make contact with the Middle White Pig Breeders’ Club, which has existed to promote the breed since 1991. The breed itself was, as you might expect, a result of breeding Large White and the now extinct Small White in the 19th century.
